Upton-by-Chester welcomes visitors, golfing societies and corporate day golfers throughout the year. We’re a popular destination for golfers looking for a memorable experience, thanks to the quality of our course, our warm welcome and our fantastic food. We have societies that visit us every year and visitors who come from all over the world to experience one of Chester’s finest courses.

We welcome large and small groups of golfers throughout the year. Thanks to our well established tree lined fairways and USGA specification greens, we’re a sound choice in the winter as well as the summer.

We offer a range of great value packages to societies. Unlike many other golf clubs, we have a dedicated bar and restaurant that offers everything from a hearty breakfast to a la carte dining. Societies tell us that the quality of our food really makes us stand out, and we’re happy to design a menu to suit your party and your requirements. We’re flexible, and we believe you should have choices where and when you want them.

We value our society bookings and will work with you to create a memorable day, whether you want to incorporate mini golf lessons with our Professional or course activities like nearest the pin and longest drive. Our team can help with cards, prizes and competitions.
